![]() If I am understanding your statement correctly, because you purchase the content on Valve's Steam Platform, even though it is a game that we created, we have no access to the details of the product because you purchased it on a different PC gaming platform. "Thank you for your inquiry and sorry that you are experiencing trouble with the spore game. Please refer to the following message I got from EA's Support when I contacted them before I contacted Steam Support back in May: > "If the content is still missing, you must contact the developer for that game for assistance with accessing the content." I tried the above on the other previously affected account as well, but the parts did show up there this time. When I try to run the game via either the base game or the expansion, the new body parts still don't show up. The base game always comes back with one wrong file which it downloads, but the next time I check it shows the error again. I reinstalled the games and ran verify game cache on both the base game and the expansion pack. You would have to contact Valve's Steam Customer Support as they would best be able to assist your issue due to being able to access your account information Thank you for your inquiry and sorry that you are experiencing trouble with the spore game. My partner has the same issue with his game and C&C Pack, but he owns Galactic Adventures as well and that doesn't show up as registered to his account either. But these are difficult times and whilst some of the big players have anticipated consumer apprehension and adjusted their pricing model accordingly, EA's board of directors still seem to be in a state of denial.I have both Spore and the Creepy & Cute Pack via Steam, and have installed both on my PC, but the content from the C&C Pack isn't showing up in the game, and the Spore website doesn't recognise I registered the C&C pack to my account. Now if Steam, on EA's behalf, were selling a bundle that simply consisted of Spore + Galactic Adventures + Creepy and Cute Parts Pack for £11.24, it might hold some merit. In effect, EA is selling a four and half year old game plus expansion pack plus cosmetic extras for a smidgeon under £22 (and for a 75% off discount, that's a pretty ambitious price tag). The full Spore game is not required, as it adds no new features to the gameplay. It adds content to the Creature Creator including paints, parts and backgrounds. One could argue that Spore + Galactic Adventures might, at a push, justify the not insignificant £11.24 price tag (relative to other AAA titles and taking into consideration it's age) but, as a compulsive 'completist', the prospect of purchasing an identical but seperate copy of a game simply in order to ensure that I have procured all the available content for the game, seems absurd especially given that the 'Creepy and Cute Parts Pack' would set me back an additional £9.99. Spore Creepy & Cute (or abbreviated to C&C) is the first parts expansion pack for Spore released on the 18th of November 2008. Hi Kylie, I was just extrapolating from Xiane's response, maybe I misinterpreted but it seemed like Xiane was suggesting that 'Galactic Adventures' and 'Creepy and Cute Parts Pack' are two distinct game additions - an expansion pack and a parts pack respectively. ![]() If only because EA reluctantly capitulated to the demands of the consumer (or more likely 'Valve') with regards to the highly unpopular and utterly innapropriate DRM fiasco. In any case, if someone can confirm that one of the spore expansions 'encompasses' or otherwise includes the other expansion in its entirety, I might consider making the purchase. Pepper promo codes and I'm not going to go through that again. I spent two months chasing hapless American Steam members for Mass Effect 2 Dr. If it is the case that the two expansions have to be bought seperately then, even at 75% off, I'm not going to endorse EA's contempt by volunteering my hard earned cash. It certainly looks appealing but I'm already highly sceptical of EA and its dubious business practices. I always tend to buy bundled or special editions on sale items but so far as I can tell, creepy is an entirely different expansion to galactic so does that mean in order to acquire both I need to buy both?
